PERSONAL.
Mr D. E. Parton, of the staff of the Masterton Post Office, will leave this morning for Wellington on his annual holiday. Mr Charles William Benbjw, who & has been a prominent figure in insurance and commercial circles in Wellington for vtry many years, died at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at his residence, Tasman Street. Mr F. W. G. McLeod, the popular conductor of the Masterton Municipal 'Band, has found it necessary to apply for several weeks leave of absence fro'n the Band, as his health-is still very indifferent.
