THE DRUCE MYTH.
MRS ROBINSON'S CONFESSION
Received March 4, 9 a.m
LONDON, March 3.
Mrs Robinson, who is charged with perjury in connection with the recent Druce case, stated that Mr Kimber, G. H. Druce's solicitor, demanded from a shipping company compensation for the loss of letters. The proceedings, however, were futile. As a matter of fact, the letters were never lost. Mr Kimber gave Mis Robinson a cheque to pay the company's legal expenses, but Mrs Robinson declared that she was ignorant of the claim. Mr Kimber, she says, acted in order to make a sensation.
