Mr Hugh Campbell, the very wellknown Poukawa (Hawke's Bay) sheep farmer, and breeder of borses and polled Angus cattle, is dead, aged (4. M r \V F. Massey, member for Franklin and Leader of the Opposition, is likely to visit the South Island in April or May. It ib pio bable that he will go to Dunedin.
Mr G. E. A. Hood, Inspector of Factories at Masterton, is on a fortnight's holiday leave. Inspector A. Dona-y, of the Wellington office, is .relijjMUig Mr Hood.
