; The members of the Wairarapa Amateur Swimming Club competed last night for the medal donated by Dr. R. V. Hosking, the event being 50yds breast stroke, the last of the series in connection with the competition Mr J McLean swam the course alone, as no other competitor faced the starter. He secured the highest number of points in the four events, and is therefore the winner of the trophy.
