The Late Sculling Race.

WANGANUI, March 2. The final settling-up ovtr the Webb-Tresidsr sculling race resulted in each of the scullers receiving over £2OO from the "gates" additional to the stake. This is more than double profits of the Webb-Towns match in Sydney, and had the weather been fine the gates would have been much larger. Tressider left to-day for Gisborne on a short holiday, and returns in about a week. Both be and Webb speak in terms of the highest praise of the arrangements carried out by Mr Tuck in connection with the race.
