A Zulu has been arrested at Zombolwana on a charge of murdering the loyal chief Sitsirshile in August, 1906.
The accused declares that he merely obeyed his chief's orders.

MR JELLICOE'S OPINION

Mr E. G. .Tellicoe has forwarded a statement to Lord Elgin, Colonial Secretary, declaring that a European land grab caused the native troubles in Natal. He asserted that it was impossible for Dinizulu to obtain a fair trial.
Mr E. G. Jellicne, formerly of Wellington, was defending the Chief Dinizulu, charged with treason, but relinquished his brief and returned to England.
