BYTKLKOUMUI VKIWK ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, February 28
The Mayor of Auckland, to-day, presented each member of the Auckland cricket team, which won the Plunket Shield, with a handsomemedal to commemorate their victory, placing Auckland at the head of cricket in the dominion.
.Received February 28, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, February 28. The "Herald" estimates that something like £2,000 will have to be paid by the Cricket Association to make up the Board of Control's guarantee to the English cricket team.
The following will represent Masterton A against Mauriceville to-day: -Redmond, Perry, Bewley, Parton, Esson, Mackellar, Logan, Rawson, Richards, Moorehouse, Crookenden. The match will commence at 2 o'clock sharp.
