An Epidemic of Typhoid.
AUCKLAND, February 26. There is an epidemic of typhoid fever in Auckland. 89 cases having been reported in the city and suburbs since December Ist. Dr. Purdy estimates that typhoid fever costs Auclcalnd £15,300 a year for hospital cases alone.
