The death occurred, on Friday last, of tor William Cooper, an old settler of Nireaha. The deceased was 82 years of age. At Kaitoke, on Wednesday last, Mr A Svensen, of Morison's Bush, was married to Miss Alice Robinson, kof Kaitoke. „____——-. Mr D. Caselberg, who, with Mrs Caselherg, leaves on a tour of the British Isles.next month, has been granted three-months'leave of absence by the. Masterton. Trust Lands Trustees, of which he is a member. The death occurred, in the Masterton hospital on Saturday night, of Mr Joseph Crockett, a well-known resident'of Alfredton. ' Deceased was 58 years of age.,; The funeral will leave the residence of Mr Z. M. Hoar at 2 p.m. to-morrow. __
