THE WELLINGTON PONY AND GALLOWAY RACING CLUB.

MARCH MEETING

The programme for the March meeting of the Wellington Pony and /Galloway Racing Club has been issued, and sportsmen will appreciate the endeavour of this Club to give liberal stakes, thereby encouraging this favourite sport. The da'.e of the meeting is Saturday, March 21s*", and the programme includes six events, the principal being the March Galloway Handicap, 45 sovs. The other five events are awarded.sums ranging from 18 to 25 sovs. Entries cio«e with the secretary, Mr P. P. Bigwood, Miramar, at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 9th.

Mr R. Knox took his team of hoi'ses engaged at the Woodville meeting to that town by train yesterday morning.
