MONTGOMERY'S ENTERTAINERS.
Mr Edmund Montgomery's Entertainers will commence a season of three nights in the Town Hall on Tuesday next. Of a recent entertainment given in Palmerston North the "Manawatu Daily Times" says:— "If we were asked to single out of the kaleidoscopic entertainment provided last night one pictorial subject as worthy of special mention we would select the thrilling series of 'His Majesty the King and his Navy.' Many other subjects entertaining and amusing were shown. Miss Hilda Hargood was heartily encored for her singing and Mr Edmund Montgomery was never in better voice. His illustrated song "I'm tying the leaves so they won't come down" (a very pretty and touching composition) earned for him a double recall."
