The championship swimming events resulted as follows: —One mile, Beaurepaire (Victoria) 1, Dickman (New South Wales) 2, Garland (New South Wales) 3. Won easily in 24min 29sec. One hundred yards, Hesly 1, Beaurepaire 2, Garland 3. Healy won with the greatest ease in 57 l-ssec.
