LEADERS ASSAULTED. Received February 12, 8.3 a.m. JOHANNESBURG, February 11. A number of Pathans and Punjabis assaulted Mr Ghafldi and other leaders of Asiatics in the Transvaal as the latter were proceeding voluntarily to register themselves. (Mr Ghandi is a well-known Indian solicitor, and has been prominent in advocating the cause of the Indians in the Transvaal).
