SALE OF STUD ENGLISH LEICESTER SHEEP.
Mr William Perry, of Penrose, Masterton, Wairarapa, has decided to dispose of the whole of his wellknown flock of English Leicester sheep (flock No. 56, New Zealand Flock Book). In the sheep to be sold are many first prize and championship takers, including the ewe which scored first and champion at the Christchurch Show, also ewes which were champions' at Pa/merston North and Carterton Shows.' In the rams the well-known sire "Kruger 2nd," who was first and champion at Hastings, Carterton and Masterton Shows, also first and reserve champion at Christchurch Show, will come under the hammer, as will his son, who was first at Hastings, Palmerston North, Masterton and Carterton Shows of 1907. Other well-known rams to be offered are "Roberts 4th," who scored first out of 47 entries at Christchurch Exhibition Show and "Roberts sth" first at Palmerstmi North, ' 1907. During 1907 Mr Perry's English Leicester sheep were awarded four championships, 19 firsts and nine second prizes at the various shows at which he exhibited. Certain of the sheep to be submitted at this sale have been entered for the forthcoming Masterton Show (to be held on the 18th and 19th inst.), and Mr Perry will transfer all prize moneys won by fiim to purchasers uf winning sheep. Catalogues will be posted on application to the auctioneers, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., .Vatterton/or to any of their branches.
