MASTERTON STREETS.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—ln to-day's issue of your paper I notice a petition from the * local cab-proprietors has been presented to the Borough Council, praying that several streets in Master ton be rolled, or otherwise improved, that they can be used with more safety. No mention, however, was made of Walton Avenue, so that I wish *o draw the Councillors attention to this street in particular, which is very far from being safe for vehicular traffic (or for that matter any other traffic). Walton Avenue is now a. thickly populated street, and I am sure the Councillors will agree with me that the residents should receive more consideration than has , been shown them. I assure the Councillors the residents of Walton Avenue would also be thankful i" about two street lamps were erected, if only to see their way around the boulders. Trusting an improvement will be effected before an accident occurs.—l am, etc., RESIDENT. February sth.
