A THREATENED LOCK-OUT.
SHIPWRIGHTS' JOINERS' DISPUTE. Received February 4, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, February 3. The masters of the North-east Shipyards notify a lock-out of 30,000 employees on the 15th inst. unless the shipwrights' joiners' dispute is settled. (Recently 6,000 men engaged in the shipbuilding trades struck in the north-east. The men object to an immediate reduction of 13 per week | in time rates, with a further reduction next month.)
