BARGAINS IN LAND.
The Manawatu district has the reputation for possessing some of the finest land for dairy purposes in New Zealand. From Longburn away to Rongotea on the north-west, and Feilding on the north down to Palmerston, and away to the vicinity of the famous Gorge, there are miles of rich alluvial flats on which' many families are living handsomely on very small holdings. The progress of the town of Palmerston North is the best evidence of the prosperity of the district. During the past few years it has gone ahead by leaps and bounds, probably faster than any other agricultural centre in New Zealand. Messrs Brophy and Mowlem, land and estate agents, of Palmerston North, have been fortunate in securing a. number of bargain properties situated in the district referred to, which have been placed in their hands for sale. They are quoted at remarkably cheap prices, and the firm will ba pleased to forward particulars of same to anyone on application. Numerous other properties in the Taihape and northern districts are also on their lists for immediate sale. Clients can rely on receiving prompt attention to all applications. The firm's business is the oldest established of its kind in Palmerston North.
