WOODVILLE NOMINATIONS. Nominations for all events, except the Maiden and Scurry races, to be run at the Woodville District Jockey Club's autumn meeting, on February 19th and 20th, close with the secretary, Mr E. J. Gothard, Woodville, at 6 o'clock to-night.

Nominations for all events at the Wellington Pony and Galloway Racing Club's meeting, on February 22nd, will close on Wednesday next with Mr P. P. Bigwood, Miramar, Wellington, at 9 p.m. At the request of several owners of ponies, the measurer for the Wellington Pony and Galloway Racing Club will be in Masterton on Tuesday, February 11th, to measure any ponies that are nominated for the meeting, and will grant certificates while here. The grandstand on the new Pony Racecourse, at Miramar ia now rapidly approaching completion, and will seat 1,200 people. The course has also been fenced off, and is in capital order.
