A RISE IN CONSULS.
DUE MAINLY MONEY. Received January 31, 9.47 a.m. LONDON, January 30. Consols aro quoted at 86§—a rise of 30s since Friday last. The rise is due mainly to cheaper money, but partly to the news that the sum of three millions is early to be devoted to a sinking fund.
