SHEEP-DIP AS AN IMPROVES OF THE GROWING FLEECE.

OPINION OF AN EMINENT NEW ZEALAND SHEEP-BREEDER. i It is a fact which no one can gain- ' say that the value of an opinion on any subject depends entirely on the source from which it emanates. j ./fiie position which Mr Ernest! Stp'rt, of Parorangi, etc., has won for himself in the .sheep-breeding world at once commends his opinions on all matters relating to the pastoral industry to the careful consideration of the flock-owners of this dominion. Like every man who has achieved distinction in any line of business, he is always ready to s«ize upon the latest and most up-to-date scientific discoveries to promote the advancement of his calling; hence his experience of the use of Quibell's Patent Powder Dip on his valuable flocks is at once instructive and interesting to wool-growers generally. Writing to Messrs Quibell Bros.' New Zealand representative under date 16th December, 1907, Mr Short states as follows—viz.: "I have pleasure in enclosing my manager's promised report on the efficacy of Quibell's Dip (Powder), as uced on my flock during the past season, and I am pleased and gratified at the knowledge that the dip has out so satisfactorily. v *li'The condition of the wool is certainly an improvement upon even last year's highly satisfactory clip in that respect, and it is very certain that the sheep are, as my manager says, clean on the skin and almost absolutely free from ticks." Mr Short's experience of the use of Quibell's Dip agrees entirely with those of the world's most distinguished sheep-owners in this and other lands, more especially as to the improvement in the condition of the wool which follows the use of this valuable specific-a feature on which they all, as if by one consent, go out of their way to comment upon.
