Bush Fires in Nelson.

NELSON, January 30. Serious bush fires are burning in Aniseed Valley. At the Copper Mines the men's tents were burned. Disastrous fires are raging on Rochfort's property, at Motupiko. Several houses and farm buildings are in great danger. Several narrow escapes from death are reijorted. Gallant work was done by a large band of fire-fighters at Coleman Bros.' farm. One of the men, F. Savage, in endeavouring to turn the fire from the swamp, was almost burnt to death, being got out with much difficulty.
