Nominations for all events at the Eketahuna County Hack Racing Club's race meeting, to be run on Thursday, February 13th, will close with the secretary, Mr H. A. Walker, Eketahuna, at 10 o'clock to-night.
TARANAKIJOCKEY CLUB. AUTUMN MEETING. Wednesday and Thursday, March 25th and 26th, are the days fixed for the Autumn Meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club. The stakes for the two days will total £1,570, the Taranaki Cup, of 300 sovs, one mile and a quarter, and the Paul Memorial Handicap, of 200 sovs, one mile and a distance, being the principal events. There are several open races of 100 sovs each, while the hack events, including the two hurdle races, have fair stakes. Nominations for all handicaps cle,se with Mr Mussel! Fleetwood, New Plymouth, on February 13th, while entries for the Hack Scurry and Final Hack Flutter will be taken on March 14th.
