POLLUTION OF WATER SUPPLY.
HEAVY DAMAGES AGAINST LOCAL AUTHORITY. Received January 29, 11.18 p.m. LONDON, January 29. Mr Ferguson, proprietor of a hydropathic establishment at Malvern, has been awarded £7,500 damages through loss occasioned owing to the district, council allowing the water supply to become contaminated, causing an outbreak of typhoid.
