METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 a.m.. yesterday, Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for the subsequent 24 hours: — Wind.—Moderate to strong from the southward at all places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, and westerly ther.ce to Napier, but a strong westerly to gale elsewhere. Barometer.—Fall slowly northward Ol Napier and New Plymouth; rise everywhere else, but falling again after 16 hours. Rain.—There are some indications for rain at places southward of Napier and New Plymouth. Warning signal for westerly gale is exhibited at Capes Campbell, Foulwind, Farewell Spit and Nugget Point.
