STANWELL PARK TRAIN ACCIDENT. Received January 27, 9 a.m. SYDNEY, JanUai'y 27. After leaving the rails the carriage bumped along for half a mile before overturning. The driver had not noticed the fact that the carriage was in-difficulties, and a passenger pluckily climbed along three cars and informed him. There was a large number of pantomime children picnicking, at Stanwell Park, and parents and relatives gathered in great numbers at the Sydney Station, believing the children were aboard the damaged train. There was much excitement.

(A first-class car of an excursion train jumped the rails and was overturned at Stanwell Park. One passenger, Mrs Morris, was killed, and three injured).
