METEOROLOGICAL.
At 9 aim., yesterday, Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for the subsequent 24 hours: — Wind.—Moderate to strong from the southward at- all places north of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan; westerly thence to. Napier; strong to gale northerly after from 12 to 24 hours at all other places. •Barometer.—Rise slowly at all " places northward of Napier and New Plymouth, but fall thence southward. Rain.—There are some indications for rain in the southern districts. Warning signals for northerly gale is exhibited at Nugget Point, and will be shown after sunrise at Capes •Campbell, Foulwind, and .Farewell Spit.
