FATAL ACCIDENT AT MAHANGA BAY .

WELLINGTON, January 26. An accident occurred to-day at the camp of instruction of the Wellington Engineer Volunteers at Mahanga Bay, by which Thomas Hall, a married man, aged 60 years, who was cooking for the camp, was killed. Hall was engaged drawing water, and members of the company were receiving blasting instructions some 120 yards away. A charge of gunpowder was exploded on a piece of railway iron, a portion of which was thrown into the air, and in falling struck Hall on the head, inflicting' injuries from which he soon died. I _
