NEW ZEALAND v. NORTHERN UNION. WIN FOR HOME TEAM. By Telegraph—Press - Association. Received January 27, 4.32 p.m. LONDON, January 26. A match was played at Leeds yesterday between fhe Northern Rugby Union representatives and the New Zealanders. The Northern Union team led throughout and scored 8 points to nil in the first spell. The home team increased their score in the second spell, and the final scores were: — Northern Union 14 New Zealand 6' The Northern Union representatives scored four tries and one goal, and the New Zealanders two tries. The New Zealanders will play the Northern Union team at Chelsea on February Bth, and Cheltenham on February 15th. The latter match will conclude the tour.
