Enteric Epidemic at Auckland.
AUCKLAND, January 24. During the past few days an outbreak of typhoid or enteric fever lias occurred in the Auckland district. and has now assumed somewhat serious proportions. There are at present no fewer than 32 cases being treated in the Auckland Hospital. Of this large number fourteen cases are associated with Newmarket.
