THE WAIRARAPA TOURNAMENT. The Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Championship tournament was concluded yesterday, all the games being played out with the exception of the final of the . Men's Championship Singles, which will be played between Messrs C. C. Cox and G. G. Aitken on Saturday, at 2.30 p.m. The weathtr conditions were again favourable and the large number of spectators that, were present on the courts witnessed some very good games. The arrangements for the meeting were well carried out by the club's energetic secretary, Mr N. D. Bunting, who worked untiringly to • ensure every detail being attended to. DANNEVIRKE TOURNAMENT. BY TEIjKOHAVH—PIIUSS ASSOCIATION. DANNEVIRKE, January 23. A most successful tennis tournament was concluded to-day. There were over 200 entries, including H. A. Parker. Results Championship singles, H. A. Parker; championship doubles, H. A. Parker and Swainson; combined handicap doubles, Miss Fitzherbert and Collins; ladies handicap singles, Miss M. Ryan; men's handicap doubles, Giesen and Rowe; ladies handicap-doubles, Misses Hindmarsh and Clarke; men's handicap singles (first class), D. Drummond.
