RACING.

DANNEVIRKE JOCKEY CLUB. RACE PROGRAMME. The Dannevirke Jockey Club has fixed on March 11th and 12th as the dates of its annual meeting, and a liberal and well-assorted programme has been drawn up for the occasion. As formerly, the two chief attractions of the gathering are the Dannevirke Cup of 300sovs, one mile and a quarter, and the Autumn Handicap, of 150aovs, one mile and a distance, both of which should be instrumental in attracting first-class racehorses to the fixture. Other wellendowed item are the Flying Stakes of 120 sovs, six furlongs, Tamaki Welter of HOsovs, seven furlongs, and Kaitoke Welter of lOOsovs, seven furlongs. Entries close with the secretary, Mr J. S. Freeman, Dannevirke, on Saturday, February 22ud. The programme will be found elsewhere in this issue.
