Land Sale at Feilding.
FEILDING, January 18. A land sale was held here to-day, when the Hon. John Bryce's Makonui estate and R. M'cßeth's Wharekoa estate of 2,800 acres were offered. Altogether 2,000 acres were sold at prices ranging from £2O to £29 per acre. The average was about £23 per acre. The land is principally grazing and dairying country situated fifteen to eighteen miles from the railway line at Feilding.
