PROPOSED GOVERNMENT GRANT. BILL TO BE INTRODUCED. Received January 15, 10.35 p.m. LONDON. January 15. The "Pall Mall Gazette" states that Mr Augustine Birrell, Chief Secretary for Ireland, early in the coming session will introduce a Bill to establish a national Roman Catholic University in Ireland with a Government grant of £30,000 annually, representing £6O per student.
