The Sculling Championship.
TRESSIDER AT WANGANUI. WANG AN UI, January 13. Tressider, the Australian sculler, on being taken over the Kaiwhaiki course, ten miles from town, where the world's sculling championship is to -be rowed, expressed complete satisfaction. His view was endorsed by his trainer, Bain, and his pacemaker Ford, the former of whom considers it a far fairer course than the Parramatta, and superior in every way. The finish will be three-quarters of a mile lower down the river than the finish in the Webb-Stanbury race; giving but one easy turn in the three miles, with a mils straight at the finish. It has been definitely decided that the match between Webb and Tressider, for the sculling championship of the world, shall take place on the Wanganui River, on Tuesday, 25th of Fehruai-y.
