Boating Fatality.
r YOUNG MAN DROWNED. DUNEDIN, January 12. A beating fatality occurred in the Upper Harbour, to-day. A yacht containing two men, named Rush and Thomas Smith, was sailing opposite Waverley, about noon, when a squall struck the boat, which capsized. Both men were thrown into the water. Rush managed to make his way ashore, but Smith went down. The body has not ye* been recovered. The deceased is a single man, 25 years of age.
