Is it a Hoax?
AUCKLAND, January 9. A boy playing at the Manakau Heads found a bottle containing a letter saying that the pleasure boat Terawhiti hal broken down about fifty miles outside the heads, and help was wanted. It was signed Sidney James. i Capiain Keal, harbour-master, thinks that it is a hoax, but has instructed the masters of vessels to keep a look-out for the boat. i
