THE PRUSSIAN BUDGET.
A BIG DEFICIT. Received/January 10, 8.35 a.m. BERLIN, January 9. Owing to bad railway returns and other causes, the deficit of the Prussian Budget for 1907 amounts to two and a-half millions sterihg. It is estimated that the expenditure in 1908 will show an increase of eighty millions sterling, part of which will be mtt by loan and part by increase in income tax and the opening of fresh collieries.
