Received January 10, 10.53 p.m. LONDON, January 10. Mr W. A. McArthur, has resigned the directorship of the Bank of Australia. H. L. Doherty has decided to compete in this year's lawn tennis championships. Received January 11, 12.25 a.m. LONDON, January 10. Eight hundred motor 'bus men have been dismissed for refusing to resume duty. Mr J. C. Williamson has engaged Madame Ada Crossley to tour Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand with a concert party in September. Received January 11, 12.33 a.m. SYDNEY, January 10. The Bowling Association has arranged a test match against a New Zealand team. The match will be played on the Balmain Green on the 23rd. The team is to be selected with a view to as many clubs as possible being represented. Sixteen clubs will have members in the team. The Warringah team entertains and plays the visitors on January 27th.
