METEOROLOGICAL.
Captain Edwin issued the following report at 9 a.m. yesterday for the subsequent 24 hours : Wind.—Moderate to strong from the southward at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo and Raglan, but from the westward thence to Queenstown and Dunedin; strong to gale from same direction in southernmost districts. Barometer. Little ' movement northward of Napier and New Plymouth ; fall everywhere else. Warning signal for westerly gale is exhibited at Nugget Point.
