Jett'ray, the Board of Trade expert, in his report on New Zealand trade, which has been published, admits that preference assisted the British trade, and anticipates still better results under the new tariff. A COLONIAL COMPANY. PROFIT FOR THE YEAR. Received January 9, 8.52 a.m. LONDON, January 8. The balance-sheet of Robert Campbell and Sons shows a profit of £48,759 for the year. A dividend of ten per cent, has been declared, and £30,753 carried forward.
