A LONDON TRAGEDY- REVIVED.
THE VICTIM A SYDNEY LADY. Received January 9, 10.10 p.m. LONDON, January 9. The police are satisfied that the body of the woman found on October 10th, in Wroxall Woods, Goring, is a Sydney lady who disappeared in May, •during a. state of depression, owing to alleged stoppage of her allowance. A relation has identified a gold studded hair comb, which she wore, and two lady acquaintances have identified a silver buckle and the clothes of the deceased. . Death is attributed to, an overdose i iof morphia; A hyperdermic syringe rJ *was found on the ,body. FURTHER PARTICULARS. SUPPOSED SUICIDE. Received January 9, 10.35 p.m. LONDON, January 9. The "Daily Mail" states that the body found at Goring is Mrs Dolly Scott Harden, reported to be the wife of a Sydney -solicitor.. A friend of. hers says that shs tried, but failed, to earn a living by pen pr stage. She took morphia to relieve acute neuralgia. Another friend received a letter fro.n heron May 9th, stating that she intens ded to commit suicide, as she-was ter/Jffibly pressed and reluctant to live {<Pupon friends or charity.
