EMERGENCY CURRENCY ISSUE. Received January 8, 8.38 a.m. NEW YORK. January 7. Mr Nelson W. Aldrich, chairman of the Committee of Finance, has introduced in the Senate a Kill to provide for the issue of 250,000,000 dollars emergency currency in the form of National Bank notes taxable as high as six per cent., and withdrawable when the financial emergency "has ended.
