MORE .ABOUT EDHE "SPLIT." Received January 5, 4.15 p.m. LONDON, January 4. Mr W. O'Brien, National member If or Cork City, describes as an absolute untruth the statement made by Mr .John Redmond, leader of the Party,, ithat ihe made proposals to transfer to a committee of ctbree arrangements in connection with the meeting of the Irish Parliamentary Party and the National •Directory. 3He explained that he that -the Directory alone should convene the meeting; but that ■with a view of commanding the conifidence of ail sections mechanical arrangements to carry out the Direc* Tory's regulations -ehould fee entnuated to three secretaries. Mr O'Brien adds (that he merely {suggested the names of Mes-rs T. C. Harrington (M.P.. for Dublin) and Delavin and Father Clancy, two of wlioin represented Mr Redmond's own party. Mr Redmond's objections had been vented since then for the purpose of extracting himself from a dilemma.
