TINNED MEATS.
ALLEGATION AGAINST BOARD OF TRADE. Received January 5, 4.35 p.m. SYDNEY, January 4. Handlers of Australian canned meats have alleged that the Board of Trade is accepting inferior American meat 3 for the Mercantile Marine. .Mr T. A. (Joghlan, Agent-General for New South Wales, interviewed the Board, and received an assurance that the standard recently put into force would not be lowered.
