NATIONALIST MOVEMENT.
MR O'BRIEN URGES RE-UNION OF PARTIES. Received January 2, y.16 p.m. LONDON, January 2. Mr William O'Brien, Nationalist member for Cork City, addressing a Nationalist demonstration at Buncvane, said he did not trouble further about the peace negotiations. The mass of the people must assert themselves and compel a re-union. The real cause of troubles during the past four years was the Parliamentary party and National Directory League, which usurped the people's power and obtained control over the people. The Australian funds at the party's disposal could not be better employed than in summoning a convention to re-establish unity, but the Redmondites shrank from such a convention.
