CLOSE OF ENCAMPMENT CONFERENCE. Hi" TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, January 2. The Conference of Delegates from the New Zealand branches of the Australasian Student Christian Union concluded at Trentham tonight. A resolution was passed in favour of annual conferences instead of meeting every two years. It was decided to endeavour to get each of the four University College branches to raise £SO annually towards the Union's general expenses. The number of delegates attending the Conference, which has lasted several days, was 59, of whom 36 were ladies.
