Received January 2, 9.16 p.m. PRETORIA, January 2. A meeting of 2,000 Indians at Johannesburg have resolved to continue their resistance of the provision for registration, and vigorously protest against Lord Elgin's sanctioning of the Immigration Act, thus surrendering ths right and duty of protecting the interests of the weaker and unrepresented partis who, as British subjects, suffered less under the former regime.
