MANGATAINOKA SPORTS.
The annual sports meeting of the Mangatainoka Athletic Society was held at Mangatainoka, on December 26th. There was a large attendance •of the public, and the gathering was a decided success. Over £45 was taken at the gates, as against £32 8s last year. The popular secretary of the club, Mr J. A. Walsh, had all the arrangements complete for the gathering. He was ably assisted by Mr P.
