AUCTIONED FOR FOURPENCE. BRUSSELS, December 27. An authentic Van Dyck portrait, given to his sister, a nun, was auctioned for foupence. It was among rubbish %und in a convent in F'anders. . • (Sir Anthony Van Dyck, the famous Flemish painter, was born at Antwerp in 1599, and died in London in 1641. He was a pupil of Rubens, whom he assisted in some of his great compositions).
