\tKaiparoro, on Thursday last, Mr T * M Watterson, of Masterton, was married to Miss Mabel Fauvel, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Fauvel, of Kaiparoro. Miss Fauvel of Welbngtun, was bridesmaid, and Mr R. Wallace, of Mastsrton, was best man., The'marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. T. Thompson, of Masterton, assisted by Mr Ralph, of Eketahuha. At Atea, on Christmas Day, Miss Florence Smith, second daughter of Mr and Mrs S. Smith, o? Atea, was married to Mr Albert Knowles. The Kev. J. McCaw, of Maryborough, was the officiating clergyman. Miss Nellie Brown, daughter of Mr A M Brown, late of Carterton, was married last week at Marton to Mr H. Sheriff, of Tasmania. Mr II Hart, solicitor of Carterton, is at present on a holiday tour, through the North Island. The death occurred on Friday night last, in the Pahiatua Hospital, of Mr H. F. Davidsoij, of the firm of Hare and Davidson, land and estate agents, Pahiatua. Heart disease was the cause of death. The deceased was about 50 years of age.
